…No sewing at all for some days… but very nice weather for outdoor activities…
This weekend we took a trip to the woods to pick lingonberries…
as you can see on the pictures…Autumn has come a long way up here in the North of Sweden…some strong winds and the leaves will go…
…today I made some jam and it sure is lovely… sour and sweet at the same time… 🙂

Tomorrow I will have a posting about some Angelic matter…
so keep out Angel Story Members… 🙂

  1. I have been following you for a while, and found you through the stitching room.I have enjoyed all the lovely many parcels that you have received and the dolls and the beautiful sewing projects!Today however you touched off a deep memory for me, so i had to say hi!Lingonberry preserves, oh how it takes me back to my childhood! My Gran used to make a sorbet out of them, and OH how sweet and tart it was, but i loved it!thank you for the memory!

  2. Lingonberries….mmm never tried them but they sound delicious! I read about them in a historical fiction novel about a Swede newly immigrated to the US and he told his new US bride about his mothers mouthwatering lingonberry jam.Well now I know what they look like! The jar in the middle of your picture looks so nice, wish is were sitting on my shelf!Bec xxx

  3. I have a couple of jars of imported Lingonberries in the pantry right now. It is a must to have over Ostkaka, and rice pudding also. Yum. A son gave us a couple of bushes a few years ago but they didn’t grow well here. Maybe we planted them in too much shade.

  4. Mouthwatering! Mmmmm…. your lingonberry jam looks soooo yummy. What a lovely treat to celebrate autumn & winter.*S* P.S. Have you got my e-mail about shop?? Hopefully, you found good solution.:-)
